Absolute Crossings Ltd. is an Alberta based company serving western Canada and has been operating for over 7 years now. Our staff have experience drilling and managing the longest and most difficult crossings, we are able to drill the less difficult horizontal directional bore road crossings to the more complex and difficult designed HDD river crossings. All rigs provided by Absolute Crossings inc. are ready to go and outfitted with the latest technology to suit all our client’s needs, no matter how technical the job.
We currently have 8 rigs in total, 2 American Augers rigs, A DD330 with 330,000 lbs. of push/pull and a DD110 with the ability to push/pull 110,000 lbs., we also have 5 Ditch Witch rigs, 2 30’s capable of 30,000 .lbs push/pull and 3 100’s capable of 100,000 lbs. push/pull. Rounding out our fleet is a Vermeer 330 capable of 330,000 lbs. push/pull. Our Drilling systems range from crossings with surface locator and soft formation jet shoe to the more difficult rock drilling with tri-cone rock bits guided by our downhole steering tool. The surface locators have depth limitations whereas starring tool guidance systems have no depth limitations.
The DD110 rig is capable of a wide range of pipeline sizes, from 2″ up to 36″ and the DD330 rig is capable of handling pipe sizes ranging from 2″ to 48″.
